Whoa dude. Ok, to start, yes, I am an adult.

Secondly, I didn't claim they were uncommon. I simply stated that it's not up my alley in terms of how I dress. I don't have anything against people who do wear them, as also stated, my good friends in college wore them...and were able to pull it off, comfortably. However, I wouldn't be able to wear one because I wouldn't feel comfortable doing so (just not my thing) and they just aren't perceived as cool in the rural part of area in which I reside...if I were to wear one out in public, I'd be razzed all day/all night for looking "gay," "metro," or "overly preppy." I realize peacoats are perceived as being more common and cooler in areas that are considered to be "more cultured" than the area I reside in...I've known this since college.

I am sure that you and Hamas (although I don't believe Hamas perceived what I wrote in the same manner as you seemingly did) can pull off the "peacoat look" quite well and probably are perceived as looking cool as shit by your peers/acquaintances.
