I literally had to google, "peacoat," to familiarize myself with what they are. IIIIIIII...dunno, Hamas....those things aren't really my style. Those things cross a line of preppy that I just wouldn't be able to wrap my meat-head around. I had a couple friends in college who wore those... they were Chicaburbians. I had never seen one in person prior to that. I remember thinking to myself, "well, those coats are evidently cool...since Chicaburbians are wearing them, but I just can't imagine being able to pull that off in rural Iowa without being labeled as 'flamingly metro.'"

Peacoats are not uncommon. Really came back into popularity/style 5-10 yrs ago for women and a little after for men. Adults have always worn them though. Are you not an adult?
