Though the Terps still have one more ACC season before heading to the Big Ten, the ACC's additions of Pittsburgh, Syracuse and possibly Notre Dame could eliminate the yearly home-and-home series between Duke and Maryland. If the Blue Devils are not scheduled to come to the Comcast Center next season, the Terps will be without their most anticipated home game of the season.

When Maryland eventually does make its move to the Big Ten, it does not necessarily mean the rivalry will die.
An annual non-conference game is always possible, along with a potential meeting during the annual Big Ten-ACC Challenge that takes place early during each season. But the scheduling could lie with Duke, and its desire to play a program that has given it several headaches through the years.
