I'm not looking for a 'mediocre' QB. I'm looking for a guy who's smart and poised and who recognizes when the running game has the hot hand, and when the clock needs run, when the D need a breather. Who doesn't hurt the team with unnecessary gambles. Who doesn't lose poise. Who's capable of the clutch score when needed.

Would Matt Cassel in 2010 fit that description? He was iffy on 'accurate', but the rest sounds similar. And yes I include "clutch" since they were 4-2 in games decided by a TD or less.
