If he plays at an elite level and stays healthy at G, sure why not?
This is like Jerry Jones blowing all that money on Tony Romo. Sure it doesn't matter now, but people will be bitching in the spring when:
A. We have to cut a solid role player to get money for the cap.
B. Struggle to get money to resign your stars.
C. When we want to sign an elite player in FA but don't have the money.
