You appear to be arguing that no matter what happens, Reid gets a pass for this pick. You're citing the 'weakness at the top of the class' as though no talent will come out of it. You seem to be ignoring the fact that this front office seems content to fill a hole that it's dying to create and somehow justifying the decision by again citing a weak draft class.

If the class is so !@#$ing weak, why make more holes in your roster? Or if it's only weak at the top, why spend #34 on a QB that's ceiling is slightly above average when the draft is actually quite deep from 15-40?

The front office has ****ed this up except for one possible scenario - Alex Smith does become a top 10 QB, Geno Smith does bust out and Joeckel/Fisher end up being clear improvements on Brandon Albert for a very long time.

But no, just keep on making excuses for the front office. This is just the same mindless contrarian bullshit that you spouted during the ***** regime - that's why I pointed it out.

GMs separate themselves from the pack in drafts like this one - not in drafts like the Luck draft. My wife could've made the Andrew Luck pick; I'm not impressed. If these guys are worth a shit at all they'll still make this team a lot better given the tools they inherited.

I suspect they won't, however.
