If they had decided to pick him there would be no reason to hide it, in fact most teams in that position go ahead and make a deal with the player ahead of the draft. Either they haven't decided yet or they are trying to trade down. It is certainly not a done deal, no matter how much you want to convince yourself it is.
I'm just saying you are setting yourself up for some serious disappointment.

Its a month before the draft, they aren't going to sign whoever they take this early, no matter who it is.
