I hate Getz as much as anyone, but Gio has yet to do anything when given a chance to show he's a better option.
His work with the bat in spring training this year wasn't quite as disappointing as his hitting has been in his big-league stints, but it still wasn't very good.
I want Gio to make it clear he's the best option, but he just hasn't done it.
