Most minimum wage jobs are unskilled labor. How much should someone make for washing cars, cleaning bathrooms, flipping burgers or checking your groceries out at wal mart? These types of jobs were never intended nor should be intended to raise a family of 4 on. The system is designed for a worker to start at the bottom and work your way up to a new pay scale as you get older, more educated, more experience, develop a trade, etc......
Why is this so hard for some people to understand?
