For what it's worth, I don't think it was that big of a reach at this point in the draft. I probably would have taken him with one of my three picks coming up. Dieon was even on record at the combine saying he thought Mathieu was legit and would eventually be a stud in the NFL. I'm also a bit disappointed Lemonier went off the board before this pick. Not that I really disagree, but I don't think we can use Deion's opinion of him as anything. He sat down with the kid and it became pretty clear he was acting as his publicist in that segment on NFLN.
