At that point, you're heading into the 2013 season with same glaring weakness as the 2012 team that went 2-14 - safety, cornerback, ILB, WR, DE and depth and pinning your immediate hope that Alex Smith is a difference maker.

That's a huge risk and if it doesn't work, Arrowhead will be empty by November.
