He's very good. I don't know if he's completely all-world and it's interesting to note that he was the third guy on that line in terms of NFL prospect when the season began. I think it was his performance in the NC game that really pushed him up.
And add to it that the Chiefs drafted Rod Hudson two seasons ago, and he was one of the best guards I've ever seen at that level. Near clone of Shields in build and game.

Well, no way am I suggesting the Chiefs should be looking at Warmack. I was just responding only to your arguments about the Alabama O-Line, because I am in a position to respond (having seen this line in person at every Alabama home game for the past three years).
There's no doubt that the whole offensive unit benefited from Jones and Warmack playing right next to each other this year. Warmack was, to my eyes, insane-good all year long. Not just because of Jones at Center, but because he was grading people at the line and making plays at the second level.
