Note that three of the four years were the highest YPA during Reid's tenor. I bolded those years above. The YPA and 20+ yards correlate 75% of the time. The time it didn't correlate was with the slowest talent of the three (Owens). Again, It goes back to the talent he had and speed on the field. It's about Reid catering to the player's strengths. When he had quality speed guys, he threw it deep the most. He's only cracked the top 5 in 20+ yard passes four times in his career.

To further illustrate, Clayton's post shows that the Eagles were ranked 5th in 2008 in pass
attempts, while your post shows that the Eagles were not (apparently) ranked in the top 10 in pass
completions over 20 yards.
Similar comparison can be made for 2011 and '12.
