We have found ( through a Kroger survey )that it is usually the women who buy the logs by the gas pumps, out in front of the store to take home and have the man start the fire when she cooks supper. Women get the wood, the movies, groceries on the way home and have an evening at home instead of going out.
I still prefer reservations. Preferably, at an upscale restaurant.
