You know, I'm starting to think I'd rather see Texas in the WC game at this point. Crazy, I know. Never imagined I'd be typing that.
But, the Rangers have been scuffling for some time now (obviously, or the A's could never have run them down) and they'll have to be somewhat deflated if they don't win that division, which is seemingly their birthright. I'm sure they never dreamed they'd get stuck in that one-and-done WC game. And the A's are just hotter than hell.
