Oh, come on Pitt, you're better than that, read the context of what he was saying. He said that 10 years was a good measure of a program, especially compared to what they were before, and now the merits of that 10 years has made them an SEC team. There are two implications in that: First, people always assume the top of the SEC when they throw around a genreic statement like that, they aren't talking about Vanderbilt. Second, it implies that MU's football play is what got them the invite. If A&M doesn't go, MU gets no invite. If Missouri doesn't have St. Louis and KC, WVU get that invite.
