I suppose if the Royals eat almost all of the salary, someone will pick him up, but that's about it. Also, there have been rumors (radio guys) about Frenchy previously being a pain in the ass in the clubhouse when he's not playing regularly.

There are still so many GMs that don't pay attention to advanced stats, I'm sure they can find someone who would be foolish enough to trade SOMETHING potentially useful for Francouer (or take him on as part of a trade for Mijares or Broxton).
Prime Candidates:
Brian Sabean - worst GM in baseball, in my opinion. Has survived only due to tremendous luck in the MLB draft.
Jack Z in Seattle
And I'm sure several others.
