I thought my front seven would beast it up: Ray McDonald, Chris Long, Ndamukong Suh and Tyson Alualu are my starting line and have provided all 14 of my sacks. My LBs have been nonexistent. I thought a starting 3 of Connor Barwin (11.5 sacks last year), Patrick Willis and Pat Angerer would be noisemakers, but they literally have shown nothing. Not even a penalty.
The bear here is that without any kind of occurrence in the play by play, there is no way to determine their effectiveness, or lack thereof.
My DBs are as underachieving a group as you could ask for, but I already mentioned them, although we did double our season int total with one more in week 10.

I agree (Rain Man has mentioned it too) that we need to have some way of giving feedback with respect to how some of the non-skill units are doing. If you were a real GM, you could watch them play, grade them, and figure out where your weaknesses are. Here it's all a black box. So on one hand we need to give you some feedback that you can use for improvement, but at the same time, we don't want to remove the "fog of war" aspect where it would become too easy to game the system. Rain Man and I need to figure out the best way to provide this feeback to you.
I have Chris Long playing for the Vision in League 1. He has been beast, compiling 16 sacks. You have only got 6 sacks out of him. Same thing with Suh. He's generated 6 sacks for me, but only 3 for you. I'm don't know and won't say how much of that is luck and how much might be game planning.
I don't think it would be giving too much away to say that LB can't get sacks unless you blitz them.
