Well, seeing as how Doomy finally made an excellent pick, the Lions are stuck taking merely a good value instead of a great value (Kendricks went a full round too late, IMO).
So I'll go with a guy that's just as athletic and appears to have every bit the upside of Kendricks, though will probably need a little more seasoning:
Detroit Lions select Nigel Bradham, ILB, Florida State.
Bradham played the middle fairly often at FSU and with any luck will be able to make the transition to the NFL and stick there. However, worst case scenario is that he should be a nice weak-side 'backer in a couple of seasons.
