I agree; went to CC as a DE, converted to O-Line so he plays with a bit of a defensive mentality (i.e. the mean streak I love in my lineman). He has more explosion than your average lineman and appears to have room to add even more weight if need be.
He's raw; only a 2 year starter. Then again - who better to block for Cam than his college tackle? Few guys are going to have a better feel for what Newton's likely to do in the pocket than Brandon Mosley.
I think he's a great fit for the Panthers. With Gross still there, they don't have an immediate pressing need for a LT, but Otah's health is just spooky as can be and Gross isn't exactly a picture of health either. Bell makes a nice swing tackle/backup for them, but Mosley can be a very good long-term starter and may some day replace Gross on the left side.
He's also a nice value in the 4th, I figured I'd need to reach for him in the 3rd if I wanted him, but he fell. It came down to him and Potter and I just think Mosley has a little more upside while also actually being a little more polished with his technique.
