Could I also list McClain as my #1 FB, but aslo my #3 HB?

As for injuries - I know it says the simulation is based on performance, does that also mean there is no possibility of 'carryover' injuries? For instance, MJD was a workhorse God, but in a simulation, could he twist an ankle in week 3 and miss the 2nd half? Could that injury then carry over to week 4? Or is it that a player is going to be healthy for the entire game he starts and will be healthy for as many games in the sims as he was in the regular season?

In other words, I know my limit on starts for Trufant is 4, but does that also mean I'm guaranteed 16 healthy starts from MJD? Or do the 'guaranteed starts' only constitute the outer-bound?
On the first question, you're correct. You can play Cherilus at LT, but just know that there'll be a degradation of performance compared to what you'd have if he was playing RT. And that degradation will be bigger the further removed his position is. If you move a CB to FS, you won't lose a lot. If you move a CB to NT, he's not going to be very good even if he's a great CB.

I'll let cdcox address the second question. My initial thought is you can do that, but he's the programmer.

On injuries, I believe the way cdcox is programming it is that your player will be available to play on any week that he played in the real NFL. So for example, you can have Eric Berry on Week 1 but no other week. Matt Cassel will be available any week up until he hurt his hand. If you had a guy who was in and out of the lineup every other week, he'll have the same pattern of availability in the simulation.

For a guy like MJD who played all 16 weeks, he'll be available all 16 weeks and you don't have to worry about injuries. If the injury happened in real life it'll happen here, and if the guy didn't get injured in real life, he won't get injured here.

I think the guy will play the entire game if he was available to start, just for convenience purposes, but cdcox will confirm.
