My example was just an extreme one where they would obviously be overpriced and units sold would clearly prove it.

People spend more on brand name products which are identical to the cheaper generics in some cases, it's nothing new. Guru's point is that people are paying for the brand, which is overpriced for what it is. Guru is correct and it's not even worth arguing over.
