Faye Miller said early on that Don would remarry within a year, so I wasn't shocked at all when he proposed to his secretary. The other character progressions were predictable as well.

Assuming that your claim of overt predictability is true (and I would say that it isn't), is predictability necessarily a bad thing? What does predictability do in terms of the project of the show? Step your game up, Dane.
