I liked it too. That was the first movie I had been to in a long time that left me thinking after I left the theater. Well done IMO.

As far as a sequel, I'm not really sure what direction they could go with it because

There was decent closure. The dude is an alien being now. His wife has moved on for the most part. The alien could return and attempt to change him back and the humans could declare war or whatever. But to me the story was about the dude undergoing the change to an alien and his struggles as a result. If they continued the story, it would make it about something else which would water it down IMO. If they make another, I'll definitely see it, but I don't think it will have the same effect. JMO
