Calvin Watkins of Fanhouse reports that the Cowboys have put OLB Greg Ellis on the trading block.
Ellis, 34, is due $4.15 million in the final year of his contract. He's been sent home from OTAs, so the team is serious about dealing him to open up a starting spot for 2007 first-rounder Anthony Spencer.
