I'm sure Joe Brady sees Michael Thomas 2.0 in him or something like that, but I don't see, really, how he makes that offense MORE dangerous.
He's big and physical and won a lot of 50/50 balls in college, but he also didn't pull them in at a special rate or anything like that.
When you're not separating down the field, and all you're really doing is running a go route where you try to win a jump ball, that becomes kind of predictable and easier to defend, IMO.
To me, he duplicates what they already have Dalton Kincaid doing. He and Kincaid and Shakir are all guys who work best underneath and short/intermediate. Will be interesting to see how they make it work.
