Yes, technically Pioli was worse. I guess. It’s like AIDS is worse than gonorrhea. Pioli was worse but I was numb to it. Herm did the damage. By the time Pioli came around I was checked out. At least in terms of thinking the franchise wasn’t snakebit.

I sort of lump the whole Herm & Pioli eras into one giant fireball of misery that I actively choose to forget.
I do remember one cool play in the Herm era against Tampa Bay where Tyler Thigpen handed a reverse to Mark Bradley and then caught a TD pass on a trick play. That was pretty sweet!
