The VFX were fairly basic and rudimentary but I saw it in the past decade or so and thought it held up better than
Tron in those terms. If Disney+ is streaming the remastered
Tron, the original must be unwatchable because whatever they're streaming is awful, too, IMO.
There are two different versions of
The Last Starfighter out there. There's a 2009 "25th Anniversary", which was just a straight digital transfer and a 2020 4K scan and Remaster, which is what I'd be interested in purchasing.
