In hockey the Canadian players make the least amount, they can pay up to 53% in income tax. In the USA the state's without state income is like a consideration for some players when negotiating. Florida, Tennessee and Texas have no state income tax and now the Raiders fall into that category because Nevada has none. That was like a raise getting out of California.
