yeah, **** a straight salary dump. But, he can go to a new team and get his money. I don’t know what the rules are but, can his agent negotiate with another team for a contract with the Chiefs permission before the deal is finalized. They do that in baseball.
Teams will give us more if they get Jones beyond the one year.
