I think the Chiefs fiasco changed his life. A fail as epic as that will change a man. He was brought along as Clark’s “assistant” when Andy was being interviewed. He saw a man take his own life.
I don’t think he’s anywhere near the douche he used to be. But he’s changed.
I get it though. Everyone wants him to get the Ramsay Bolton treatment.
