To some people, an aņejo tequila would be. There are crappy mixing gins, and gins to be drank straight.
Lots are into wine...
For me, I would put scotch and dry hard cider and microbrews above all.
A lot of rum and vodka and lesser (silver, reposado, etc) tequilas are for mixing.
It's mainly what you're preference is though...and for mixing , it barely matters...a splash of 7up will make a lot of cheap booze taste ok....
