8-4 and a bowl game isn't a bad season. Going to a premiere bowl or BCS game every 5 or 6 years should be the goal. But Nebraska fans just can't handle that thought, so they're going to be perennially disappointed.

This isn't true it's not 2005 anymore. Expectations have changed. The fanbase isnt even freaking out over being 0-6 most didnt think we would be this good. Frost even said this summer that year 2 is when they would start winning some games. They've had 20 guys transfer since he took over and hello Mike Riley was the old coach. Look at how new coaches did when they took over the year after he left.
