You leave your feet on nearly every single tackle. Especially form tackles. You're taught from day one to "engage" or "Roll" your hips. This pulls the opponent off of their feet and momentum eventually causes you to leave your feet.
In the NFL, the ball comes out so fast that you either dive to engage the passer before the ball leaves, or you don't make the sack. That's not a compromise pass rushers should be asked to make. Either outlaw sacks altogether, or this should be completely legal.
