I remember Dorsey looked like he was standing his ground but it just seems like there is not much to do to make the star players accept significantly less than all the riches they think they are worth.

I was never a fan of how much Berri got but it was really a case of either you pay him what he wanted or you lose your superstar.
I know tons of fans would have been pissed at Dorsey if he had not given a new contract to Berri so I guess in the end he was going to be criticized no matter what.

I didn’t forget.
I thought the term was too long given his injury history. He deserved top dollar at his position, but it is a position that is becoming de-valued like running back. Not a lot of foresight.
