That's Kodi Keymap Editor. It's a Kodi addon that allows you to configure any remote to do any function within Kodi. So you can customize your remote buttons to do whatever action you want. It's pretty straight forward, and very handy for customizing a remote:

I guess it's limited to 480p quality. Not sure if that would work for you.. Have you tried the Silk browser and accessing tv.youtube.com within that browser? I thought that was still working too..
