The 69 Chiefs, if I remember correctly, led the league in rushing yards, passing yards, and obviously total yards. They may have also lead in scoring defense too, but maybe not. They already have 5 HOFers, Robinson should be in. And if you ask me, Mays and Lynch are overshadowed and not given nearly enough credit for what they did. They aren't HOFers, but to have a single defensive team with 6 HOFers on it? Thats insane. What other unit can boast that?

And in many articles, as was posted in the OP, many reference Robinson as the "glue" guy that made it all work. Thats saying A LOT in itself. Dude belongs in the HOF.

The Chiefs 1969 defense lead in fewest rushing yards, fewest passing yards and fewest total yards for the season. Amazing.
