MJ hit 50% of his game winning shots. That is totally insane. He averaged 33.5 PPG in the playoffs. Also totally insane. And there's nothing ridiculous at all about the Peyton analogy. Is there any doubt he was the best QB of all time? But he only won 2 Super Bowls (1 was basically a defensive Super Bowl). That does not diminish Peyton or Lebron. But there is way more to the story than numbers.

Even if he doesn't pass the eyeball test (and it seems everyone except Lebron fanboys... including those who don't give a shit knows MJ was more consistently great in the clutch), you keep blaming his supporting cast & coaches. Part of Lebron's legacy will be his leadership. He couldn't get along with coaches, doesn't want to run any offense except ISO ball, and he multiple times ruined teams by forcing his front office to make crippling personnel decisions. He's accountable for that too. MJ was an asshole, but what he wanted made the team better.

Those things absolutely matter.
