That's really good for tourism. But aside - why doesn't your "Mayor" just run them the hell out of Denver and back to Kalifornia?

No one's a fan of having a bunch of homeless people all over the place, but when you're experiencing the rapid population growth we are right now, it's tough to keep up. It's compounded by people moving here who don't have jobs and are just wanting to live somewhere that's awesome. (Legal weed doesn't hurt in bringing people either.)
And while it's a nuisance, it's clear at this point that our tourism and visitation aren't being hurt - both are climbing so fast right now we can barely keep up.
And finally, the safety issue (like most safety issues) is way overblown. If you're uncomfortable telling a bum to **** off, sure, but it's not like people are getting mugged all over the place.
