Bennett had a productive season. So did Peters. And then they got traded because they're "toxic".
Toxic to whom? Not their teammates; both players were well-regarded.
No, they're only toxic to the old white ****ers who buy season tickets and make owners richer.
Back to my original point: trading these players away for peanuts is not how you build a winning team. The Eagles and Rams and anyone else who is on the receiving ends of these trades are going to see their "risk" pay off, while the other teams are going to have mediocre quiet seasons that let them sell tickets to conservative suburbanites.
