Actually i didn’t pay anything for an ounce of beef my marking department set up open check for a customer dinner so I had the Wagyu tomahawk for free. BTW same place I get my Rolex’s although still waiting in the Hurley Haywood engraving line.
Also I never stated anything about Kobe being better or worse than Waygu just that there are few places that actually sold authentic Wagyu and where I had some.
I think the difference if any in the two comes down to personal preference and mostly the chef preparing it. Regardless of which is actually better, American Kobe is still not authentic Wagyu or vice versa.
I’ll try the American Kobe next time and see if it is better in my opinion
