I don't pull my snowblower out for anything less than 5.

I lived in Albert Lea for a bit back in 1998-9. I got the worst of Minnesota life I think. Or maybe it's normal for the area, dunno?
1. Snow literally belly button deep. Had to walk to work a couple of times because the truck was drifted in like a bastard!!
2. Warmer weather time, the mosquitoes were the size of small aircraft. They could stand flat-footed and Butt- F*** a chicken I think.
3. That year, there was a hail storm with softball sized hail, and I'm not exaggerating a bit. I saved a few of them but of course don't have them anymore. It busted every windshield around our place. I think that was in May IIRC.
After that bit, I took the first decent job I could get back here at home in Missouri and never looked back!! Hats off to you guys up there
Like I said, don't know if it was a normal weather cycle for there or I happen to land at a bad time, but it was a mess. On a positive note, my twin boys were born there. I guess when it is crappy outside, you find entertaining things to do inside
