Ok, yes. This is a quality rebuttal with merit to it. I enjoy debating these topics but notice that after pg 8 or so the discussion in every thread on this board becomes grown men hurling insults at each other like 6th graders who can't convince each other to change their favorite player "Gronk's the best stupid," "No! ...anyways, I digress...I'm not sure that next year is the year we can
actually make a run at a Super Bowl. I'm of the thought process that Mahomes will need at least a full Rookie year, then in year 2, or much more likely year 3, he could get this team to that level. I think most outside of KC would hear me say that and dismiss my projection because it wasn't conservative enough. That being said, I think there's a strong argument that another 2nd RD pick would be more advantageous than Mahomes getting 6 games this season.
