Quite a few guys in the 30 or under area that are locked in and worth the money. Several ways to gain more cap by releasing/trading to make some moves. They need to fix the OL - same issue from last 3 years, but have 2-3 guys that have good upside.
And, for giggles - here's a quick graph that shows only those players locked through 2020-2022. Several great options (14) and a few that are unknown, mainly young guys. Flame away if you like, but these guys are young and solid with several years left, plenty of time to fight through 2017-18 and be ready to do great things in 2019. Staylor, explain how this core locked in through 2020/2022 is not young and talented.
I'd like to see them rip off the band aids and just make the tough calls now. They'll be better for it and when these guys are 30-32, they're just reaching 'old player status' with good years left.
We'll see what they do.
