I don't think that matters either. Vegas knows how to make the odds so it is almost impossible to win consistently and are there are so many gambling addicts out there who do dumb s**t they almost always make money.
Most ppl who bet on sports are gambling addicts, average fans and hardcore fans. The guys making the lines are way smarter and more objective than the average fan and hardcore fans love their teams so much it's hard for them to place bets objectively. They always bet on their favorite team because they always think their team will win and they overestimate how good other teams are based on how their team did against them. Plus you are already losing $10 on every $100 you bet.
So in general the bookies and Vegas always win.
