How something is built and from what, can save property even in a Cat 4. My shelter was a newer building built to survive a Cat 5 and 185 mph winds including the hurricane glass. That's what the police and principal both told me.

I have been in a cat 4 (some say was CAT 5) truth is you never know when you have 200 mph sustained winds with gusts exceeding that. Anything breaches the structure and it is good as gone.
