By bringing up the possibility of an upset, you're making a comparison that both had a chance to win. Douglas had a chance to win because he's a boxer. McGregor isn't. I don't mean to be pedantic, but this fight is only being talked about because it's a sideshow and people want to talk themselves into the possibility of something bizarre happening to justify watching it.
It's the nature of our sports debate culture.
Even the nature of McGregor's punching power is being talked up, yet he's never thrown a punch in a sanctioned fight with 8 oz. gloves.
Floyd's a piece of shit as a human being, but he has no chance of losing this fight, short of him tearing his ACL in some sort of freak accident.
This fight will last as long as Floyd wants it to.
