Yes, each week Alex Smith is going feel the pressure of being benched for the kid if he doesn't play well. So he is either going step up and actually play good or try to hard and start pressing and making mistakes that rookies make. Everything Alex Smith does is going be under a microscope and Patrick Mahomes II is just going be there if/when Alex Smith blunders and then make his opportunity count.
