Who knows? I would prefer slimmer I think. I want to get my hands on some of the proprietary Tesla 18650s! That battery is still around 83% capacity after 3000 cycles!

I pulled the pics out of your quote to avoid filling the page but, yeah, that's the stuff I was seeing in reports after I started looking around. I'm a little annoyed at the thought of my hardware going obsolete but I don't know how long this will take to trickle down to vape mods. We might start seeing mods come out with a slightly larger battery sled built in by next year I think. I would imagine that they'll have small adapter pieces built in so you can use both types. I used to see mods regularly that were built to take multiple batteries. Mostly tube mods with additional pieces. I think going 18650/20700 would be easier than that. There is a mod available now that I think I posted about in this thread that takes 18650's and 26650's. The Vaporesso Nebula. It comes with a short rubber sleeve for the 18650. I would think that you could do the same thing with this as long as the spring loaded contacts were long enough.
