Bingo! From what I've heard, this is precisely the case. The guy is iron willed and refuses to change his approach. He's now putting himself before the team, and that's a HUGE no-no in my mind. Time for Gordo to eat some humble pie and decide to take a new approach to hitting a baseball. What he's doing now (and has been doing for quite awhile) simply isn't working. Frankly, I think he's embarrassing himself and the team.

Time for Yost to decide to be a manager and sit the guy until he starts seeing some changes. That we continue to play this guy just boggles the mind. Sure, he's a fantastic fielder, but no glove merits .150 BA and .200 slugging percentage. The guy simply can't hit, and when he does, it's a weak single (I heard his exit velocity is now around 85 mph!). It's waaaaay past time to sit this guy.
